Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Refurbished Laptop Wala, we value the trust you place in our Certified Refurbished Laptops and Chip-level Repairing Services. This policy outlines our procedures for refunds and cancellations to ensure transparency and a professional experience at our Laxmi Nagar Head Office.

1. Order Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. However, since we deal with specialized Business Class Laptops and high-end spare parts, we have a specific window for cancellations.

  • Product Orders: You can cancel your order for a refurbished laptop within 12 hours of placing it online or via phone. Once the device has undergone its Final Quality Check (QC) and is dispatched, cancellations are not permitted.
  • Service Appointments: If you have booked a Doorstep Pickup or an on-site repair, cancellations must be made at least 4 hours before the technician's scheduled arrival.
  • Custom Upgrades: Orders involving custom SSD or RAM Upgrades cannot be cancelled once the hardware integration and OS installation process has started.

2. Refund Eligibility for Refurbished Laptops

We provide a 7-day Testing Warranty on all our refurbished machines. If you face a hardware-level issue during this period that cannot be resolved by our Laxmi Nagar engineers, you may be eligible for a refund or replacement.

  • Refunds are only processed if the laptop has a major Motherboard Failure or a defective component that we cannot replace within a reasonable timeframe.
  • The device must be returned in the same physical condition as delivered. Any signs of Physical Damage, Liquid Spills, or Tampering with the warranty seal will immediately void refund eligibility.
  • Software-related issues, such as third-party application crashes or OS preference changes, do not qualify for a refund.

3. Service & Repair Refunds

Our Chip-level Repair Services (such as Power IC repair or GPU re-balling) are highly specialized. We follow a "No Fix, No Fee" policy in most cases, but certain conditions apply.

  • Service fees for successful repairs are non-refundable. If the same issue recurs within our 3-month service warranty period, we will fix it at no extra cost.
  • If a repair fails after the device has been handed over, and the customer has already paid, a partial refund will be processed after deducting the Diagnostic and Logistic charges.
  • Refunds are not applicable for Advanced Data Recovery services once the data extraction process has been initiated, regardless of the recovery percentage.

4. Non-Refundable Items & Services

Certain products and services provided at our Laxmi Nagar Hub are strictly non-refundable due to their nature:

  • Consumable spare parts like Thermal Paste, Internal Cleaning Supplies, and Used Batteries (once installed).
  • Software licenses and OS Activation Keys provided during a laptop purchase or upgrade.
  • Shipping and handling charges incurred during Courier Laptop Services across India.

5. Refund Processing Time

Once a refund is approved by our accounts department at the Laxmi Nagar Head Office, it will be processed through the original mode of payment. Please allow 7 to 10 working days for the amount to reflect in your bank account or credit card statement. For cash transactions made at our physical store, refunds will be issued via UPI or Bank Transfer for record-keeping purposes.

6. Policy Modifications

Refurbished Laptop Wala reserves the right to change this policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be updated on this page. We recommend our Delhi NCR clients to review this policy before every purchase or major repair job.
